Spondylolisthesis happens when one bone in your back which is called as vertebra slides forward over the bone below it. This may lead to your nerve roots or spinal cord being squeezed.   • Thigh pain

Treatments for Spondylolisthesis

As we know that several sports may cause spondylolisthesis, it is important to avoid contact sports during the healing process. Common treatments that a person with spondylolisthesis will have are:

  • Wearing a back brace
  • Doing some physical therapy exercises
  • Using epidural steroid injections
  • Taking prescription anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen to reduce pain.

Remember to take action if you feel any symptoms of spondylolisthesis. The complication of spondylolisthesis is kyphosis. Kyphosis, also called roundback, is a complication which the upper portion of the spine falls off.
